Description
The Merry Widow (German: Die lustige Witwe) operetta by Franz Lehár has enjoyed extraordinary international success since its 1905 première in Vienna and continues to be frequently revived and recorded. Film and other adaptations have also been made. One of the most well known songs from the operatta is Vilia, which has been arranged here for trombone soloist with brass band by Norman Bearcroft.
With Norman sadly passing away in June 2020, we are delighted that his family has made available several of his compositions and arrangements for BrookWright to publish, with this being the first of them.
